The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
We're already close to the record amount of time betwee Pearl Jam albums, and nothing seems to be happening. I wonder if the dynamics in the group has changed in the past few years.
It's annoying because we were fed the same bullshit after Backspacer, where they said they wanted to release an EP, and wanted to record new material sooner.
They're getting lazy.
I'm really hoping Chris's death will invigorate and inspire them.

My hunch is that the band was way more excited to do another TOTD record with Chris. Heading back for PRAMG album #4 probably feels like a major chore.

BoB will have a song writing credit on the next album.
I guarantee it.
Yeah. They could really use a wish right now.

I do not get this attitude AT ALL. They don't owe anyone anything. This isn't some on-demand menu shit. They didn't have to form a band or ever stay together. When they fucking feel like releasing music they'll do it. I wouldn't want them to come out with anything when they don't want to, especially when it's a bunch of entitled fans with first world problems. People act like their electricity isn't working or some bullshit.

Everything you said is right, but recall that this IS a pearl jam message board. It's literally the best place to bitch about the band not meeting the fans' desires.

yeah, agreed. there's like 20 of us here out of millions(?) of fans who have varying but equally as tough desires from the band. this is a very select pool of geeks. i'm certain that the other 8.46 million fans they have don't really put as much effort into discussing the disappointing quality and output by the band the last 10 years.
