I can’t wait for you guys to hear them. You’ll hate them but maybe not all of them.

Very cool. Glen is the influence Ed needs in life right now. Well, maybe the one we all need...

He’s released 5 albums since ed has released his last one.

Bit of a creative gap.

As for Pearl Jam, McCready says he hopes to work on something new with them soon. “We haven’t done anything since we were on the road last year,” he says. “I’m not sure what we’re doing. I’d love to do something, but I don’t have anything right now on the table. We just had a big touring year last year, and two giant shows in Seattle for a homeless benefit. And those were amazing and exhausting and exhilarating. When we all get back together, I’m sure we’ll be creating again. But I don’t have any timeline on that right now.”

I had to check and make sure this wasn't just a satire edit.

“Exhausting”: 26 shows in the past 31 months. Mike McCready was exhausted after working almost 1 day per month over the past 3 years.

To be fair to the band, I bet the planning and execution of all of the homelessness efforts were time consuming and exhausting.

That doesn't really serve as an excuse for doing nothing these past few months however.

My current theory is that this is Brendan O'brien related. He's always anxious and probably wants them in the studio, and maybe a couple people in the band aren't having it with him?

To be honest I think he's the only external person who has some sort of influence. He's the only one who they still listen to. Maybe he's the one who can book studio time for time and call their bullshit haha

Has Stone done anything musically over the last few years? I know Jeff has put out stuff. I follow Matt on Instagram and he seems to pretty much always be writing and recording, and Mike has his own shit too. I just haven't paid any attention to Stone and what he might be doing.

Stone is growing an organic garden using his recycled waste.

Stone has not released much. About two years ago 'Brad' dropped some songs on facebook promising a single and even talks of a new album. But both never came....

Mike is scoring movies, Jeff is releasing all kinds of great music, Matt Cam released a solo record and seems to be recording alot lately.

Ed has released one tune the past 6 years....'Out of Sand'. Stone has released close to nothing since LB (only those 2 brad tracks).
