IF (when) the new one does come out, they've managed to put out, on average, 1 album every three years or so .

6 albums (plus Mirror/Merkin Ball, myriad b-sides, etc) in less than 9 years.

From Vs to Yield in particular is 4 albums, MirrorMerk, and a handful of solo/side projects in less than 4 1/2 years,

didn't Mike say – like 5 days ago – that he had no idea about a new record or when they'd be writing together?

he must have gotten a spanking and is doing damage control.

2000- Binaural
2000- Rockfords (Mccready)
2001- Bayleaf
2002- Riot Act

And lets not forget that the bulk of ukelele songs was written in 2001
