I loooove 7 O Clock so fucking much....love what Jeff is doing in all the song, and those guitarssss :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

There's something that happens at the 3:40 mark ("luminous thoughts...") that I am not sure how to describe- the rhythm changes slightly, maybe there's more to it, but it practically brings tears to my eyes every time. A sincerely beautiful moment that really loads up that "fire in the engine room" lyric.

yeah, its a special song. I love it musically, and there are very good moments lyrically too. But overall, its a monster of a song, the band is firing in all cylinders and it shows.

I hope they play it live more often.

I still don't think there's a bad song on this, my least fave is SBWM at this point but still, no skips

I feel the same way about Comes Then Goes. It should be half as long as it is.

Agree. It really sucks that you have to get up and turn the vinyl just to hear Who Ever Said again.

That sucks.

The live versions of some of the tracks are a bit better but all this mid-tempo shit about checking your heart-rate and wearing your seatbelt is as bad as anything on Backspacer.
