This is such a fantastic compilation. Binaural the album isnt near the top of my Pearl Jam list but there is little doubt that these sessions as a whole are something special.
I feel like this one more than any other Pearl Jam album kind of lends itself to a re-track or change in song list. Just stumbled on this mix i did a few years ago and personally love it.
Binaural Redux
1. Education (Tchad Blake Mix) 2. Sad (Tchad Blake Mix) 3. Light Years (Tchad Blake Mix) 4. Fatal 5. Sleight of Hand 6. Insignificance (Tchad Blake Mix) 7. Of The Girl 8. Strangest Tribe 9. Grievance 10. Foldback 11. Parting Ways 12. Nothing As It Seems
If one wanted to add Thunderclap, Foldback, Harmony, Strangest Tribe, Drifting, and Hitchhiker to the "EXTENDED ORIGINAL TRACKLIST," where should they slot these songs amongst the other 17?
Thanks...this is a fantastic compilation, but not exactly what i was looking for.
What i was asking is more in line with Leatherhead right above me here...you've got those 20-25 songs at your disposal, come up with a cohesive double album. So mix in the b-sides and instrumentals in with the original tracks.
I did that with the tracks available on Spotify...so without the instrumentals which I wish I could work with in that format.
Of the Girl Breakerfall Gods’ Dice Evacuation Sad Grievance Nothing As It Seems Insignificance Education Soon Forget Goodbye Sweet Lee Fatal Hitchhiker In the Moonlight Rival Drifting Thin Air Strangest Tribe Light Years Sleight Of Hand Parting Ways

You guys know you don’t have to include Parting Ways, right?
Trag i swear to God
Parting Ways is the bomb & always the best way to finish Binaural.
I was riding a bike back & forth to work (suspended license) at the time of Binaural's release. I also used tapes. The first time I heard Writer's Block it scared the shit out of me.
I forget who posted it, but I still randomly think of it and laugh - that when they perform Parting Ways live and Ed sings "A chin of stone...", Stone should step forward and point to his chin.

Is this similar to imagining a garden of Stones.
He needs to think of a good way to mime that line, too.
