Those were the days, huh? They had a great run in early fall 98...August was HTI from Mtl...first time I heard that. September was Breath from MSG plus they added Breath from St. Louis 94 a bit later. October was the Croc show opening for Cheap Trick, and November was the Finn/EV boot at the Karma Club in Boston.

I wore that HTI mp3 out, man. And I remember I was so stoked when I tracked down the two other versions from 98 (Knoxville and Philly).

Great feature on a great site. That was an early go-to destination.

And in a complete coincidence as I was following the live blog for the RnR HOF over at Billboard, looks who's tweets are included...

5H was great! Remember the '98 road trip guide? I actually printed that shit out and took it on the road to KC that year. Song X was great, too! I think I made a CD from that and still have it somewhere.

I printed out 20 pages of Five Horizon Euro 2000 tour show write-ups to help me decide what bootlegs to buy. This was back when time on the computer was limited because we had 5 people one computer in the house. I would spend all the time I could online downloading music. so many memories of that era.

That site had as much non-musical influence turning me into a Pearl Jam fan as anything else. I would many of us who were into the band in the late 90/early 00s feel the same way.

That 98 Montreal show was my first Pearl Jam show! I was a diehard since nearly the beginning and even i had never heard of HTI at that point!

I find her to be absolutely insufferable. We get it. Everything Bruce Springsteen did is the greatest thing ever done.

I love Springsteen something fierce, but I swear his fanboys make some of the worst Pearl Jam ones seem downright rational.

This is the only fan community I've ever followed. I wonder if they're all like this to some degree--at least the really veteran acts.

Caryn was a good friend back in the day. 5h and sgi.net were kind of like kindred spirits.
