I really don't see why someone would vote for a song if they don't think it's the best in a matchup. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of this whole thing? So what if the same song wins every year?
I do prefer "Insignificance", but both songs are worthy finalists
This
I dunno, I can see it either way. I think most here agree that Corduroy is a great song. However, it may have lost some luster, or people are sick of it, or they play it too goddamn fast now, or whatever. Insignificance is also a great song, that may not have always gotten as much attention as Corduroy, so some people might just want it to win (like going for the perceived underdog). Some also may just flip a coin and let fate decide b/c they love each song equally, or they don't give a crap. Any of those cases could be an instance where one votes for a song they don't necessarily think is the better song.
For me, Insignificance is indeed the better song, so I voted for it.
Here are some of the users who helped these songs get to the finals.
We're playing it coy. Once the tournament has finished, we'll reveal the true result, and will be running a trial to decide if we'll be banning the users that created those second accounts just to submit phoney votes.
Jury duty notices will be posted shortly.

I love both songs - but voted for insignificance. I've heard corduroy live essentially all 30+ times I've seen it. I still love it and always will.
I wish Insignificance was still in the semi-regular rotation, but it appears to have fallen out of favor the last few tours. It seems like there is typically 2-4 songs that will be played semi-regularly on subsequent tours and from Binaural I thought Insignificance and Grievance might have been the 2 songs to be played. But I guess not.

Ok, fine... Since some of you don't fucking understand the concept of cheering for the underdog, I'll fucking change my vote to the better fucking song:

I [didn't but] would've created phony accounts for Tremor Christ. And it's not that I believe it to be the best PJ ever, but like most PJ songs at some point or another, it's my favorite right now.
