I would like to hear evenflow, slowed down to even slower tempo than its original demo, so it sounds like voodoo chile's (that's chile not child) little nephew, and not chinese people on steroids screaming at each other for 2.35 minutes
and i wanna winnebago
Strongly agree with this! Evenflow (or evening flow as Kim Thayil called it) needs its groove back! Slowing down even more than studio would be an extra bonus too. Also I enjoyed the instrumental (snippet) of Prince covering Even Flow.

I'd also like to hear a version of My Father's Son where instead of the Calypso bridge there is anything else and instead of the 3rd verse there is a guitar solo worthy of an assault charge

I would like new re-worked versions of Gods' Dice, Evacuation, Cropduster, Ghost, No Way, Unemployable, Fatal, Johnny Guitar, All Night & Big Wave...where it sounds like the entire band knows how the song goes.

I would prefer they re-worked a couple staples every tour to be done in the same style as their current record. Pretend Go was a brand new song for the Lightning Bolt sessions and re-work it as if it were recorded new for the album. It would breath life into old songs and act as a bit of connecting the dots between the band they were and the band they are.

They've had a few nice moments with their reworks, but the only one that is better than the orignal is Lukin. And that has more to do with the awfulness of the original than their success with reworking it.
No Jeremy blows. The new In My Tree could've been cool, but they opted for a Boom solo.
The Bridge Corduroy is cool. I don't remember it being a big stretch from the original, though. If they decide to ever do an unplugged show, they need to consider this and the I Believe In Miracles as a nice level of change from just playing their songs on acoustic guitars.
