'which one is the new one?' he asks, having never heard any of them.

Riot Act is the last great PJ album. I'm not sure I'd call it a "Post Riot Act Money Grab" - but I mean call it a "Post Riot Act middle age malaise."

I really struggle to get excited about Help Help (meandery slop rock) & Green Disease (does anything happen in this song of note?). Get Right is also pretty forgettable. Especially when "Other Side" could have been included.

Apart from that, I love everything. Even Bushleaguer, though dated, is at least adventurous.

Riot Act also contains "Thumbing My Way" & "All or None" two songs that mean a huge deal to me, and would be essential on any playlist I make for friends.

So, yeah. Riot Act.

I totally understand why Other Side was left off of Riot Act. And I suppose I even understand why people would think it's uninteresting... but I disagree. It's a wonderful, emotional, and exact piece. It really means a lot to me. Especially as a conversation piece with Sad. :heartbeat:

I would also like to express my fondness for that particular song.

Conversely, All or None is one of their very best dirges.

Both Otherside and All Or None are fantastic.

other side is so good. it should have been paired with you are as the emotional centerpieces of ra.

all or none has a nice guitar intro but as soon as the vocals come in i'm like "ehhh i know where this is going zzz."
