I think you're talking about the Birdman Sessions (not to be confused with his cousin Jeff [or the rehearsals for the film of the same name]).

Ya this was mentioned in the 2006 Rolling Stone interview. I think it was made around Binaural though.

Speed Of Sound is one of my favs from this album.
The band should play it more often...hell, even Ed could do it in his solo tours.
I love the lyrics and Ed´s delivery in the studio version, but its actually whats happening with the band that drawn my attention. I know thats a lot of things in the background but damn, its fine.

The dance music thing was during his pre-Yield ecstasy phase. The uke album that he’s been mining for years was the post divorce one.
