I like "The End" but it makes me sad, when the rest of the album was mostly joyful; also Ed only just reaches those high notes; they should've put it down a key

This is how RM voted for Backspacer in the two completed competitions between the albums in the era starting with S/T. The competition including Gigaton in it, is not finished. But overall I think the list is a fair overview over what the best songs on Backspacer are, certainly in the eyes of this forum.

Yeez....i bought this one on the us. I went to see them at ACL and bought the vinyl and cd on New York. Got also The Fixer single.

First PJ album i listened first on fucking mp3 because of that trip. Also the last one i bought on cd.

i love everything but Supersonic. And im soooo tired of Just breathe, UK that i cant even listen to them.

But damn, The Fixer, ATW, JG, Speed of sound, Force of Nature, Got Some...they are all awesome.

Hi Guys, I have been messing around with a declipping tool, and have created a more dynamic sounding Backspacer master. It gives the drums and bass more punch and generally sounds less noisy/abrasive (it sounds better to my ears anyway, and better than the vinyl or vinyl rips i've tried)

Could a mod please PM me so I can send through the FLACs? :mrgreen: If anyone wants to have a listen, let me know! Just a warning, its still backspacer..
