what do you do when it’s time to buy concert tix?

are your fan club #’s not worth keeping?

i basically view it as a low-rent PSL at this point

In seattle, fan club tix have been shit. I had a friend who got better seats through the general public sale on ticketmaster than I got through 10c with a #158xxx

That's similar to my number, and at the 09 shows I got great seats both nights. I don't think they have a consistent system, though. Because then in Charlotte I got shitty seats.

When seniority mattered the fan club was worth it. I’d get no further from 5th row and was first row 4 times. This was also 98-2006. Mostly prime Pearl Jam


Now? Eh. I don’t know why I’m in it. I’m digital and why? Phatj is right. Most of the singles they put out are just love versions of shit we have easy access to.

I do like having the option of buying vault vinyl ( I think that’s to members only?), and I usually still get tickets to the shows I want to see which means I get to watch Pearl Jam somewhat close and with other fans. I’ve found the shows to be less exciting if I’m with non fan club members due to less interest/excitement and more chit chatter that comes with arena shows. I don’t like arena shows much these days.

Ultimately it’s $20 I don’t even remember spending so whatever

Seriously. I wonder if they'll refund part of my membership fee if I ask? Instead, they'll take offense to it, bump my 10C member # to 1,000,xxx, and send me an old "I'm Analog" shirt from three years ago.

Dudes, it’s far past time to give up the membership. You won’t miss it. It’s been a few years now since I didn’t renew and I haven’t missed it for a second. I had a decently low membership number too because I joined when I was like 15 or something. Actually I can’t recall a time when having a low membership number helped me for any reason other than idiotic bragging rights. Cut the cord!

I used to know someone who joined right when Ten came out so his number was in the hundreds.

I was a member for a time but got married and needed other outlets for money. Now that I'm older and wiser I just download the singles from the Internet and that's it. No need for anything else.

The last time I got tickets for a show I was surrounded by bro douchebags who were presumably in the fan club. That didn't help me keep my membership current. The next time they came through the concert was on my anniversary so I didn't go.

I've been a member since 1994, have been analog since you first introduced that option. I am considering moving to a digital membership in 2018, but am unclear on how the fan club singles will shake out. As we didn't receive a single in 2016, and you are now sending one out for 2017, wouldn't I be owed one additional hard copy fan club single? That is, even if I were to switch to a digital membership, I should still receive one more vinyl single free of charge, correct?

The Band still makes these for the Fan Club. The 2016 Ten Club Single & Deep Magazine have finally begun shipping. Sorry for the confusion & we apologize very much for the delay. There were quite a few delays & other things that made this one later.

They are sent from a Shipping Company & not from our Warehouse. These do take some time to arrive worldwide. They should be arriving to you in the coming weeks or so...

The 2016 Ten Club Single & Deep Magazine will be made available to you on your DOWNLOADS page hopefully soon.

If you decide to downgrade to Digital for 2018, when the 2018 Single & Deep are finished, you will have the downloads. The 2017 Ten Club Single & Deep Magazine will be shipped to you when they are finished as well regardless.
