I always wanted Faithful to get the radio release treatment. One of the best songs on the album for sure. It comes in perfect after Brain of J and fits right before No Way. One of the many good examples of anthemic choruses that filled Yield which makes it one of their best albums in my opinion.
Two l's is the official way the title is spelled. I think it's a kinda cheeky poke at the concept of being faithful. Stip is either offended by the spelling or autocorrect always gets him.

These are autocorrects. I think it's clever. Rearview Mirror and Betterman are the ones I always screw up
Clearly, folks on this forum love some Yield songs way more than me. I can't imagine thinking BoJ or Faithfull are amongst the best songs PJ have released. Very good songs, yes. I guess this applies even more to No Code than Yield. I'd take a number of Dark Matter songs over most of the songs on No Code and several on Yield, too. The highest points of Yield (GTF, DTE) and No Code (Hail, Hail) are absolutely top tier PJ for me, though.

One of my all time faves in their catalog and one of the highlights on an album full of them. This may be a top 5 for me.
May be?
What are the other 4?
I honestly have no idea. It could be made up of any one of the following, interchangeably, and more that I’m forgetting: Black, Animal, RVM, Corduroy, Betterman, Hail Hail, Who You Are, In My Tree, In Hiding, Do The Evolution, Insignificance, Long Road, Setting Sun.

Right. We’re from different worlds almost entirely.
But that’s the magic of pj I guess
