This came on the Sirius XM station in the car (we have a free trial) and it weirded my wife out that I could date it to '98 solely by the way Ed sang "he just gives it away." She had that vaguely concerned "how many hours of your life have you wasted listening to this band?" tone in her voice.

I got that same look the other day when Crazy Mary came and after the first few lines I said "oh this is from the Atlanta show I was at".

touring band 2000 might be the best live Given to Fly b/c of that lady. RIP. i've seen tb2000 probably close to a thousand times, i actually think about this lady whenever i see people signing at concerts b/c this is the first time i ever saw it.
as far as the song, this is as good as pearl jam gets. its better live b/c its played faster.
