My monthly visit to the pit has me angry. What kind of a retard outright HATES this song? My guess is that the melody & chord sequence is too complex for them to follow.
Hi! I really dislike this song. Like, a lot.
I’d love to see this song at a show with you so you could get me a beer while this plays.
Would do so gladly. You could return the favour when Wishlist comes up.
Weirdest sign request ever.
Probably a bit better than "PLAY PARACHUTES SO I CAN GO HAVE A PISS" I guess.
Pearl Jam has yet to make a song better than this song since this song came out. So this will forever be known as the last top-tier Pearl Jam song. To me at least.
One of the best songs Pearl Jam has released in the last 20 years

I agree, it's top tier. And I was lucky enough to see it at the Vic show and it was fantastic live in a smaller setting. I saw it once in an arena and it didn't work as well.
DOTC is good. But its not better than parachutes. Parachutes is beautiful. I just love how it bounces along from part to part and the way the verses and chorus flow into each other...I love how it just lolls. And I like how it builds just a bit in the end.

I think I'd agree that DOTC is better, but parachutes is still beautiful
I didn't always love the Beatles but recently I listened to their entire discology and its just so impressive how much they grew in such a small amount of times. Its truly amazing. And really they were good on every album (the latter half are just all classics)
I never understand when people tell me they don't like The Beatles.
Really? all of it? there's nothing there for you at all as a fan of rock music?
I find it absurd

5 stars song, one of a few from avocado that aged well. Unfortunatly, no live version ever did justice to the studio one. Rough mix pre record version was its best cause Mike's guitar was a louder level in the mix than it ended at the final mix.

Haven't heard a "great" live version of this one.
It's a deceptively tricky song musically Vocally impossible unless your Eddie
I learned it on acoustic guitar and can never get through it without fucking it up

I think Dance of the Clairvoyants might have changed my mind on this finally.
