I see it breaking down this way (if it breaks down):

Band 1: (we'll call them "Surfsplosion") Ed, Mike, Jack Irons, Boom, new rhythm section. They will instantly put out an album of "classic" sounding songs that sounds like a mix between '94 - '96-era Pearl Jam and Into The Wild (with Backspacer/Lightning Bolt-esque lyrics), which will sell well but they will play very few shows (but half of them in the Pacific Rim and South America/Latin America).

Band 2: (we'll call them "Jam No More") Stone, Jeff, Mike, MC/Dave A, BOB, some douchey singer, after a year and a half will put out a quirky album akin to Jeff and Stone's PJ-era solo works that will sell 50,000, but they will play every 400 - 1,000 seater in the US/Europe and open up for the new Stone Temple Pilots.

Yes, Mike will play in both bands.

Then wait for the "triumphant reunion tour" to start in 2021 beginning at the Gorge for PJ30.

Will either of these new bands have a debut album review begining with "Formed out of the ashes of Pearl Jam...."?

I would like this if Jeff's storm out was Bill O'Reilly "We'll do it live!" style.

Before Jeff left the stage, do you think he said "Nothing works... works for me anymore... ah ah ah ah"?

There's some YouTube videos, it just looks as though he didn't feel like doing the big waving and grinning exercise at the end of the night. Puts his gear down and strolls off as the band play the final notes of RITFW. I guess he simply wasn't in the mood for whatever reason.

he definitely had an extra grunt in his step though...Took out his in ear monitors and left them on booms keys too...

Might be a better angle somewhere, but you can see it here. I wouldn't say he 'stormed' off the stage, but he does talk off his ear piece and walk of the stage while the others are doing their 'bow/arms in the air/yeah/thank you' act.

Play from about 2:39:

Is that the band equivalent of handing in your badge and gun?
