This annoys me. Announce some new music before another goddamn tour.

One of the sites says, "celebrating 30 years" rather than supporting their new album. A cause for concern, for sure.

I rolled my eyes at this:

Age Restrictions at Headlining Shows:
Children must have their own ticket to attend shows regardless of age, unless specified otherwise below.

Frankfurt:
- Children under the age of 6 will not be granted access to the show.
- Children between the ages of 6-15 are permitted only when accompanied by parents/or guardianship.
- Parent permission is required for children between the ages of 16-17.

London:
- Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over).
- All children aged 2 and over must have their own ticket.
- Children under the age of 2 will be admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket.

Budapest:
- Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket.
- Children under 14 can enter only with adults.

Zurich:
- Children under the age of 6 will not be granted access to the show.
- Children 6-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

That’s probably one of the reasons why the US tour is after the European tour. Would be logical if they played a thirty year anniversary show in Seattle 30 years after the Off Ramp Cafe October 22nd.

Perhaps it would be respectful to announce a new album is forthcoming before people start spending thousands of dollars to go see them.

But - this is the jamily so I’m sure it doesn’t matter

Can we just take a moment to ponder that 2019 was the first year in 29 years that Pearl Jam played 0 shows life? ... and in 2017, they played 4 songs live at 1 show.

I feel like, earlier this year, someone suggested they do a "moon" theme because of the landing anniversary, but now everything is pushed back so far, that they missed the fucking anniversary.

Not sure why they have chosen the moon. But I guess we could say that about most Pearl Jam artwork. I loved the Binaural artwork.

Ugh. So boring.

OK. I gave you Zurich and Budapest, but I'm counting that as one of your moderation wishes.

Nothing ruins an event (any event at all) faster than my kids being there.

I applaud them for keeping kids out. I'd consider calling DCFS if some balding 43 year old was forcefully subjecting their young child to The Fixer
