For that to happen the value would need to spike significantly. Which only happens if he dies in the next 13-17 years. Which is unlikely because, by your own admission, the man is fit.

They just called out Jeff’s birthday on my hospital’s weekly IT standup call.

Jeff Ament: Career musician who found incredible success with Pearl Jam. Obviously loves to make music and art because he has a million side projects going on. How much do you think it bothers him that A) Pearl Jam only releases a new album every 3-4 years, and B) None of his other side/solo work really gains traction with a large audience?

Despite his success with PJ, you think he resents PJ?

He strikes me as the kind of guy who enjoys the creative process more than what comes after. Having multiple creative outlets but only having to do rockstar stuff every few years is probably ideal for him.

All I could think about while reading Bammer’s question was the interview where they asked about the touring experience, and all he wanted to talk about was how badly he needed a bucket of ice to put his hands in at the end of a show.

These guys are at a pretty practical thinking stage of life. If you miss the upcoming tour, Jeff will be in his 60’s the next time you see him onstage. The ability to make whatever music he wants and not have to do 100 days on tour for it is probably a gift.

Saw a documentary (sort of) called "Kid 90" by Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) and Ed's "Guaranteed (Humming Version)" popped up.
Pretty cool.

Ed’s all about the ‘Gaynes’ when it comes to his solo work.
