The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Idk. VMP says Levi is cutting the lacquers at his studio, and the metal work is coming from the new VMP plant. So I’m not sure. Can anyone with the last Yield repress clarify if Levi’s name is in the credits ?
I don’t see any mention of a Levi in the 2016 repress.

Still their best album to me, with only Vitalogy competing for the title. Vs has a bit of leftover hyurr energy and No Code, while great, feels a little too self-conscious with its "this is our Led Zep III" intentions
I've got a decent set of bluetooth shelf speakers, Edifier R1700BTs, and I still can't tell the difference in the mix on streaming.
However, through headphones, it does seem like Ed's vocals are slightly clearer, maybe even turned up, and I do hear subtle things in Low Light and In Hiding.
It would've been nice if this 25th Anniversary came with b-sides. The Wishlist Single version of U is far superior to the Lost Dogs retake. Some demos would've been great too.

I’m loving the Spatial Audio version of this. Tons of little things I’m noticing for the first time. Everything is separated just enough to make all of the individual elements clear. Push Me, Pull Me is crazy. In Hiding sounds amazing.
Eddie’s harmony vocals in the chorus of Faithful are front and center in a very good way.

I just heard something really cool while Hummus was playing. It was on the right side/channel. A sort of bwwaaah bwwwaaahh (I don't know how else to describe it) guitar near the end.
Also, I don't know if I've ever heard Jack's little tapping along with the Brain of J intro chords, right after Mike's 2nd count.

this blurb (from wiki) about Wishlist is kinda interesting...
Quote:
It was a stream-of-consciousness exercise. McCready booked studio time in a tiny studio here with our friend Stu behind the board and another friend playing drums. We don't have the discipline to sit down and teach each other parts, so you're writing simple chord changes that someone else can follow without having to take breaks to learn them. It was probably eight minutes long originally. I listened to the tape and picked out the better wishes.
I wonder what wishes were removed.
