Hi,
So the band has reworked a few songs live in the past such as speed wash, slow Lukin, alternative Jeremy and Garden etc...
What songs would you like to hear the band rework live and how? They can be Pearl Jam Songs, band member's solo songs or completely reworking a cover song.
I know a lot of songs get played way too fast live and lose their groove, however I am talking about actually reworking songs or intentionally doing fast/slow renditions of a song or changing the dynamics all together.

Matt's "I am a superhero and I have come to save the world" face is really funny.

I enjoyed New Jeremy, disliked the Boomed out Better Man intro. I am also one of the few that loved the '03 In My Tree though I do not prefer it to the original. I just thought it was a fresh take on a great song.

my favorite by far is what they did w/ 'i believe in miracles' but thats not a pearl jam tune.
id like to see them rework 'the fixer' as a psychedelic folk song.
I have to agree - Pearl Jam's take on 'I Believe in Miracles' is perfect! A psychedelic take on the fixer would be very interesting too. I always wonder where the guitar outro could have gone if the fixer wasn't faded out. I enjoyed the rawer Fixer live from Maida Vale studios more than the album version.
A song with tribal percussion could be interesting but not sure which song should get the treatment - However they need Jack Irons for that!

The fast, rocked up version of Wash would be good to hear again
Good, if you mean by ruining one of the best songs in their catalog? Then yeah, that would be good.
Wash should be left alone and made an opener as much as Release is.
I actually enjoyed speed wash. No it is no where near as good as the studio version (an excellent if not perfect song in its own right) but I thought it was an interesting take on the song. I think Dave A on drums added to the speed wash. However I would not want them to play speed wash too often - keep it as a rare occurrence and give it a quick spin every now and then.
Lost Dogs has some seriously good gems - I hope we get another B-sides album one day, even as half as good as it and I would be very pleased.

Good points there. I guess the reason I'm more opposed to Wash being played differently is that the song is so rare already as it is, I wouldn't want it to be changed. I know they played it 3 times on US leg, but who knows when we will hear it again. And the Brooklyn show's Wash and his last belting was so chilling.... I just don't think you can get that with a sped up version. But say if it was played as often as Corduroy, I wouldn't mind it as much.

I would like to hear evenflow, slowed down to even slower tempo than its original demo, so it sounds like voodoo chile's (that's chile not child) little nephew, and not chinese people on steroids screaming at each other for 2.35 minutes
and i wanna winnebago
