Yup, quite a bit more hard rock and less funky. The chorus is still the chorus but that bridge bit with Mike's rising guitar notes is heavier. |

Cold Confession doesn't really go anywhere either, at least not for 50% of the song. Moral of the story; if you like it, it doesn't matter whether it goes anywhere or not. I personally think the bridge takes it somewhere sublime, and so do the solos. But otherwise it's a pretty downbeat, morose song that's meant to stay a little below anthemic. |
