I think that's why I love Sirens, among other things. You can argue for or against the style, or whatever, but you can't say it isn't a major song. It might be the most "major" song, the biggest statement of intent, on the album.

I don't generally retrack albums, but I could give it a go.
if you do that try swapping L-bolt and sirens as well
This works, by the way. Both songs feel better placed like this. I might listen to it like this for a while. The only issue now is that the LB / Infallible fade-in is chopped.

When you say minor you mean filler right? Its definitely filler. I enjoy big wave and supersonic way more than ltrp though, and I find mfs to be the most fun song on the album.
minor doesn't necessarily mean disposable or filler. It just means that the song wasn't looking to make a huge statement.

I don't really think they had any minor songs before S/T. They've had one on every album since.

Filler could be a word used to describe it, but I'd rather say that it's not meant to be the album's centrepiece. More like a breath of fresh air or a break from the seriousness/emotion of the rest of the album. I like minor songs when I'm able to enjoy them, like LTRP. It's not essential to the album in any way, but I'm glad it's on there because I like it. I can't say the same for some of the previous minor tracks they've had. They've had them since Vs. as far as I'm concerned.

Also, the song was much better when I thought the first line was "When the kingdom comes, he puts his red dress on..."
That would make sense if Stone were singing it.
Exactly. The whole thing would've made more sense if Stone had had control over its presentation, I think.

What about Mankind? Pilate?
Possibly. I would've called those minor then, I suppose.
