I can't really rank the songs, but after many listens, I still love Yellow Moon and Pendulum very much and dislike My Father's Son and Swallowed Whole very much.

Has there been a more divisive PJ record in terms of what are the best tracks?
MFS and SW are my favourites (and by what I've read I'm not alone in that opinion), yet I know just as many people think they are among the weakest on the album...

getaway, sirens, my father's son, infallible, pendulum, and yellow moon are the 6 songs that are all at just about 10% or higher in the poll, which speaks to their being no runaway best track. Having said that, pendulum seems to be the one that is the most universally praised. Since so many of these songs are coming from different places and appealing to different musical tastes (within the broader pearl jam framework) it's not surprising that there's so little consensus here.

My order changed after the 3rd listen and I don't see it changing anymore unless Infallible moves up. I can't narrow the list down anymore/not very good at picking favorites with this album.
1-2. Sirens, Lightning Bolt 3-5. Pendulum, Yellow Moon, Future Days 6-7. Infallible, Swallowed Whole 8. My Father's Son 9. Getaway 10. MYM 11-12. Sleeping by Myself, Let the records play
1. Infallible 2. Pendulum 3. Yellow Moon 4. Mind Your Manners 5. Sirens 6. My Father's Son 7. Future Days 8. Getaway 9. Let the Records Play 10. Sleeping By Myself 11. Lightning Bolt 12. Swallowed Whole
1. Infallible 2. Pendulum 3. Yellow Moon 4. Mind Your Manners 5. Sirens 6. My Father's Son 7. Future Days 8. Getaway 9. Let the Records Play 10. Sleeping By Myself 11. Lightning Bolt 12. Swallowed Whole
as compared to my blind guess from a couple weeks ago:

I'm going to blindly rank the songs I haven't heard yet. This is just a guess. We'll see how right I am in a couple weeks. Here goes:

I'm really quite pleased with the bolt of lightning, team.

I can't get into more details (still waiting for my copy from Amazon) without the cd package, booklet and the lyrics in my hands. For now, i'll place the songs in three groups - 'i love', 'i like a lot' & 'i like'.
1. Pendulum , Mind Your Manners , My Father's Son , Yellow Moon , Getaway ;
3. Future Days , Infallible , Let the Records Play .
It's strange to me, but there is no song i don't like on this album.
On the other side, i wished for at least one more up-tempo rock song on the second half of the album, for example somewhere between any of those last three-in-a-row ballads, just for better dynamics.

I'm quite surprised to see that I agree with Stip and Release_Me, having "Infallible" at number one, although "Pendulum" is a very close second. A few production tweaks and a longer song would easily push it to the top. The next five are on roughly equal footing, so their ranking varies depending on how I feel. I like "Sirens" way more than I should, but there's enough I fundamentally disagree with to keep it right at mid-tier. The last four I can't see changing much either. I like bits of "SBM," but the overall arrangement strikes me as wrong.
