It seems like the more Bon Jovi-ish they get, the more people like them. Just a reflection of prevailing (poor) taste. I don't think Riot Act sounded anything like Bon Jovi I agree, but i don't think any of their music sounds like bon jovi |

Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote: I loved "Riot Act" on first listen and I still love it. I wasn't as instantly enamored with all of what are now my favorite PJ records but I definitely loved "Riot Act" right away. I remember being so disappointed with the overall reaction to it, the reviews and whatnot--I really felt like they were working at a creative level that people just refused to see because of who they were. Such a great album... |

Nothing wrong with bon jovi, aside from their stuff that gets played on country radio |

There's nothing right with Bon Jovi either, unless you really need someone to fill in five minutes of dead air in "old people parade" style on your idiotic morning show. |

Bon Jovi was fine music for a six to eleven year old suburban twit like me. And this world is a much better place because of Livin' on a Prayer. If nothing else, that song justifies Bon fucking Jovi. |

A few months later the only songs I find myself wanting to hear are Swallowed Whole, Sleeping by Myself, and Pendulum. |
