CoS: Pearl Jam’s Vs. Remains the Sound of a Band Raging Against Its Own Success Scott T. Sterling remembers the toll that success and fame took on a young Eddie Vedder https://consequenceofsound.net/2018/10/ ... -turns-25/
"The last song on Vs. is a Jeff Ament/Stone Gossard composition called “Indifference”. Vedder inhabits the lyrics as though they’re his own, with a sentiment that rings true for a band like Pearl Jam:"

At the time, the first two songs on this album felt to me like a great departure from Ten. Enigma territory. Dissident dampened it for me. Hollywood, bullshit scenario of a song. Sticks out like a sore thumb as did the bullying Dave song. Take both out and it’s 10/10

anyone have that crazy mary demo they played on the Sirius XM Vs. walkthrough? I could swear they played another alternate version in that Sirius XM interview... one with more acousticiness ... but maybe I am imagining things.
