I always used to think the chorus was "Im gooooone, so goooone, this time I aa-aam Gooooo-ah-ay-hoooooone"

basically I thought he was just warbling gone three times. It turns out he is not but for some reason I kind of liked it that way <_<

Also as stip has said, this chorus is so soaring like it hasnt been since a song like In Hiding.

This and "Comatose" are my favorite PRAMG songs.

This song is strangely unsatisfying. Like many songs on this album, there is nothing there to grab onto.

At most, this should've been an Ed solo song. The band sure did make a dull song out of it.

I thought it was dull as shit the first time he played it live (day after it was written?), and I was hoping it would disappear.

This chorus tries real hard to ascend to "Given to Fly" heights but it's like dragging a soggy mattress.

This is kind of how I feel about Of The Earth, but most of you love it. >_<

Not me. I think "Of The Earth" is another big bunch of nothing that would have fit right in on S/T.

They could have had Porch 2 (Severed Hand) and Porch 3 (Of The Earth) on the same album though!

Gone and Of the Earth are both rubbish, but Gone is the worse offender. Talk about dumbfuck. "Go-ooonne, long go-0-o0o0one, this time I'm guh-a-owa-ooooon..."

I hate the In Hiding chorus every bit as much.
Evacuation gets a pass because the music is quite good.

I was initially a pretty big fan of Gone. I liked playing it while driving through the city at night. Over the course of ten years it has proven to be a less than spectacular song, and pretty boring if you aren't in the exact right mood. 3 Stars, because it isn't terrible either.

I bet Jeff hates playing this one. All he does is ride that one note all thru the very boring chorus.

I adore every single one of these songs, I guess I like those 1 word choruses.
