There’s an urge overkill song that feels like an obvious influence but I can’t recall what it is, I’ll try to find it unless someone beats me to the punch

Girl, you'll be a woman soon?

I read the beginning of this song borrows or rips off a Cream song can't remember which one.
I kind of get sort of a Pink Floyd-ish vibe from the verse riff, something from their earlier, simpler stuff. But Cream is a good call too, I mean, style wise. 3.5-4 stars from me. It's one of the highlights off that album. Except for the 'oh oh ohs', they always threw me off. These pass for fioritures in modern music by popsies like Shania Twain and such.

Ok, so actually about half their songs sound like an obvious influence on Unemployable, but these two really stand out to me:

Is this a band I should try actually listening to?

About half their songs sound just like this and are awesome, really inventive guitar play. Then I'd say about 25% of their songs are slower, moodier pieces and YMMV. The remaining 25% is uptempo proto-pop-punk stuff and I think that mostly sucks.

I've listened to these two and Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon. Really dig all 3. Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon gave me a major Nick Cave vibe.
