I think one of the reasons the lyrics on this album all seem so connected is because of the way it was made. It sounds like it all happened in a pretty massive flow of inspiration, obviously fairly quickly. That resonates with me as an artist, and is why I'm vibing so heavily with Stone when he gushes about doing it this way and wanting to do it this way again!

I got a little angry when I thought I heard him sing "And there I am, just picking up the parts / A broken engine busted, looked it up on blogs." Then I googled the lyric and breathed a sigh of relief.
