I'm a bit torn on the outro. It feels like a tacked on jam. I love the rest of the track, but the outro doesn't feel earned. It goes too abruptly into an uplifting jam that it feels jarring. Could get used to it though
Is it just me or is this the same melody as Rocket Man by Elton John in the chorus?
Not just you.
It's one of my favorite parts in the song, Eddie sounds great along with Mike. I don't recall if it's this song or Won't Tell but I also hear a little Strokes 'Trying Your Luck' guitar riff that I adore.

at first I wasn't sure about that jammy outro; it seemed a bit much for the chilled bluesy nature of the song, and at odds with the synthy intro; but then I realised that the song itself is essentially an ode to 70's prog, and those three disparate parts are nods to three different elements of that sound: synthy ambience, slow Cready blues, Elton John-style piano jam
Another very cool song. Though the intro was like 20-30% too long imo. A bit disjointed but I like the pieces a lot. Though it was another Eddie chorus that surprised me lyrically. I’m confused where his head is at on this album. It’s not the Eddie I expected from gigaton.
