I love the way Ed holds and pulls and drags that last "haaaaayaaaand" right before it takes off. Great space filling. Very old school Ed. He sounds so great.
I'm guessing Andrew Watt has helped them a lot with the transitions. Melodically and from a song's structure point of view, this record is outstanding.

I have zero issues with going into the outro at the point, that's awesome, but I do think Matt goes into that doubled-up version of the outro (snares on 2 and 4) a tiny bit too early

haha yep, but it's fine
it's frustrating because it's those tiny little arrangement nuances that I used to think they did perfectly
I love the conversation about Upper Hand from Zane, but wished he asked a few more questions about this one. I'd love to hear Ed talk about the lyrics and how the whole thing came together.
