Love the opening riff on this The breakdown is really cool and a great Mike solo

Interesting that this song was the first of the metal door clips. I was looking forward to this one most. This one and React, Respond are big stand outs for me.
I like the song for sure. Really wanna hear it with the full production.
But I'm a bit dissapointed with it considering my expectations. The riff is fairly simple and lacks distortion. I was hoping for a signature Stone riff, something like Life Wasted or even the swag of Do The Evolution. But, it's just not gonna happen. It's a bit...spritzier than I wanted.
Still, it's a really good chorus, a good atmospheric bridge. Definitely similar to Who Ever Said, which was an Ed song, so I was hoping for something with some more balls here, but alas, it's pretty good.
4 stars probably

as someone with chronic anxiety and paranoia I understand exactly what "scared of fear" means; I don't know if all the lyrics will support it, but my interpretation is when you're in a state of complete inaction because you're scared of feeling the feelings that might hypothetically arise if you acted; so you have to learn to just start, and cross the bridges when you come to them
likes rhythmic things that butt up against each other

I feel like we’re kindred spirits. I’m all too familiar with generalized anxiety disorder and used to suffer from regular panic attack. That’s exactly what the title of this song configured up for me, and I’m curious to hear if that’s what it’s speaking to.

Loved this from the first listen. It's exactly the type of rocker I want from PJ. Great chorus, lovely bridge and then the way it moves back to the chorus is brilliant. Mike's solo is excellent.

If I recall, my favorite part of this on first listen was that outro guitar part, all scratchy and Stone groovy. I thought the intro felt a little too abrupt and somewhat awkward.
It almost shares a riff with Never Destination which is why I’m liking it less than the majority of people here
I absolutely hate Never Destination and I see the similarity in the guitars here and that was part of my disappointment. I wanted Life Wasted or DTE and got Never Destination instead lol
However this song is actually great. It's faaar above ND, and on par or better than Who Ever Said. I'll take it.
Love the ambient intro then the smack of the pool cue leading into that awesome opening riff It's really a great Gang of Four like riff
Great opening song
