Just listened to the Broken Record interview. Jeff and Stone sound so at peace and happy with where things are and the new album. Really great to hear that.
They both sounded authentically excited for the present and future of the band.
Where can we find this?

There are different ways to adapt. When the band de-tuned last year Ed sounded as good as ever, and you could hardly tell the song was tuned down half a step. This is how good he is. Metallica does this now, too - though they are embarassed and make up totally unbelievable excuses ('uhh, we just pick up the guitars, which are tuned by our technicians').
Also, JH before every show:
Although I agree with most everyone here - Ed has done well so far for this album cycle all things considered.
I'm enjoying the music.
And guys, I think others have mentioned this, and it is probably too obvious, but I hear reference to Chris all over this album.

Jeff wrote about a minute of ambient intro for Scared of Fear, which Andrew edited down. Jeff took the outro chords of Setting Sun and transposed it to a different key and used it for the intro. No wonder they flow so well if you restart the album.
(Maybe we can get the full intro live one day, would make good walk on music)
Josh Klinghoffer, Ed and Andrew came up with the intro to Upper Hand. Josh especially wrote alot of it.
