Helll of alot of compression! Could it be from the Rip? Gigaton kinda took care of that problem…are we there again?
Has to just be from the rip. No way
I've never ripped music from a CD in my life...Can you typically change the gain when doing that?
Alternatively, if this is done using internal routing -- like sending a streaming link to a DAW -- that is very easy to screw up if you don't know what you're doing.

man, a lot of cool instrumental stuff going on everywhere completely obliterated by everything being fucking loud. jesus christ. a great headphone album you won't be able to listen to on headphones.

Yes! It's everything a PJ rocker should be. Ed sounds great without even once needing to scream. I can imagine rocking out to this even 10 years from now. The bridge going back into the chorus, and then that outro just rules.

Won't Tell and Waiting For Stevie are two slam dunk, no questions asked 5 star songs for me.....im in love!
The Won't Tell-Upper Hand-Waiting For Stevie sequence stands upto any 3 song sequence in the catalogue, for me. So damn good.
The Scared of Fear-React/Respond 1-2 punch is also pretty great. Then, the album ends so strong with Got to Give-Setting Sun. Setting Sun is an all-timer for me, while it took a few listens to unlock the goodness in GtG.
