will that mean higher quality audio too?
Who do you think you're dealing with, Mister?
I mean Soundgarden enhanced audio for their blu ray
and PJ practically employ 90% the same people
until Ed meets some new transient flavor of the month friend / musician somewhere
and adds them to the pile
pushing down the foundation
into the bowels of irrelevant servitude

It doesn't look any different to me. The DTE video is pixelated. The credits at the end are nearly unreadable. I expected if it was upresed to HD it would look a lot better.

I just ripped my original DVD copy of this to mkv so I can have it on Plex. Looks good to me.
I'm not tech savvy enough to do that. What does the output mkv look like? 1080p? file size? Also what about the audio?
Pretty sure it ripped at only 720p but that works fine for me. It will always be better for both video and sound quality as a straight DVD, but I just wanted easy access to it (and no longer have a DVD hooked up to my tv).
Easy access is king. I still have a ton of shit on USB's plugged to the TV. 1080p would be ideal for this setup. I have the bluray now, but the USB's I can take wherever.
Well I'm too lazy to do a side-by-side comparison, but the Blu-ray sounds way better than I remember the DVD sounding. But I realized (as I typed that) that it might be due to a way better setup nowadays. The resolution is better to my eyes, but if you show this to a kid that's been raised on HD it would look like shit.
