Who Ever Said is damn lucky to survive. Ed is the weakest link songwriting wise for me.

I don't know this album well enough half the songs I don't remember what they sound like. Abstain.

Buckle Up is a serious candidate for the best song on the album. Of the songs with 9-10 votes currently, it’s by far the best.

Some sound like The Who. Some sound like Bruce Springsteen. One sounds a lot like Talking Heads

This is a very top heavy album, most of the songs eliminated are on the back end for me.

And they're all good-to-great-to-spectacular.

Somebody show me a Talking Heads song that actually sounds a lot like DOTC.

I think it's not necessarily the song that sounds like Talking Heads. It's more the inflection Ed uses when singing some parts of DOTC that are David Byrne-esque.

It's like a Weird Al, "Dare to Be Stupid" thing. A stylistic pastiche

Speaking In Tongues-era Talking Heads. Both the groove and Ed’s performance. Not sure which song is most similar.

The vocal round at the end is lifted right out of Born Under Punches, while Mike’s guitar seems to be inspired by the guitar on America Is Waiting (admittedly from a Byrne/Eno side project)
