Bushleaguer, Arc, and LBC are an easy to 3. Torn between a few songs for my 4th. I'll go with Help Help - pretty cool live but the studio version never grabbed me

Very weak run of songs. Compared to the songs voted out on No Code and Binaural, these bottom songs are crap.

This was hard because while there are 15 songs here, all of them for the most part have a purpose and place, but in the context of the album, the one that I think goes for being thematically an outlier is I Am Mine. In an album largely negative and placing them in all sorts of directions, I Am Mine is an odd declaration of agency where pretty much the rest of the album places blame on anything and everything else. Seems like the first person character of this album has been fooled, forced to reckon with outside forces and events, and a pawn in the Bush greed machine - but stuck in the middle there is a song that declares the character’s own independence (could have been a hopeful end to the album?) - it sticks in there as a song that goes more with, say Undone and Down that got left off properly because they didn’t fit the mood.

Otherwise, Love Boat Captain and Arc were the easiest choices.

For a long time, Ghost would have been an easy vote for me in this format. But now here I am shaking my head at how it's in danger of being eliminated right off the bat.
