I love what Mr. Depp adds to the song with his playing. Different than any other musician has brought to it. PIcking notes and adding a bit more melody to the rhythm is nice. And there is a lot of cool up there.

I'm not sure I like that version too much. There's something Goo Goo Dolls about it, which seems to really go against the song's spirit. Though, that video captures a performance that comes awfully close to breaking concert rules #3,4 and 5, so it's kind of hard to hear it well enough to fairly judge it.

I love the nuance of Ed's voice from this era. The accent with which he says "fig-ger...fig-ger...fig-ger" is just perfect.
