The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Re Guns n Roses: "I showed up the rehearsal, i mean, i heard all the songs on the radio, i didnt really like the stuff, kind of like pearl jam, if i wasn't in the band i wouldnt have ever listened to it"
He is really angling for that Walmart X-mas party gig

You can safely skip that Ed video, btw. Some memories of John Entwistle, some pre-election thoughts on Trump and covid, some talk about Music Cares. That's about it.

In the Dave interview, around the 32:00 mark, he posits that none of the other drummers drive the band like he did.
Discuss.
He also kind of said something along the lines of “and i don’t think they wanted to be that kind of band “
Interesting. I think the band was outgrowing his style which I can kind of hear in songs like nothing man, immortality, and of course no code.
the drums on nothingman are awesome (stone's personal favorite)
and the guy who played WMA is definitely capable of playing on No Code

I’m not saying he’s not capable. I’m saying I don’t think he wanted to be in THAT Pearl Jam. He mentioned in the interview he didn’t think they wanted to be “that band” not arena rock band.
He has also once said he liked pearl jam “when they were a rock band”
