The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Strat, just go download the 3/5/98 show from the Soundboard Remasters Series -- same show, but complete.
is it better than the official release? I used to listen to that bootleg all the time. I actually remember hearing that it was going to be released as give way and being disappointing because I had already worn the boot out by that point in high school. I was glad LO2L happened.

It is at least as good as "Give Way" -- one of RM's audiophiles can articulate it better than me, but I think JWB's version was sourced from the Sony promo CD, which is a sonically identical but complete source.
I was so mad when they pulled that release. I was way more excited about it than I was about "Single Video Theory" -- some doosh at Best Buy was heading people off at the door telling them that they couldn't honor the deal. Unwashed teen boys were exiting the building en masse that day...

Holy shit I totally forgot about that. Had the same experience of showing up at Best Buy only to be told by the Geek Squad that they couldn't sell it. They weren't called the Geek Squad yet, I made that part up as a way to burn Best Buy workers who wouldn't sell me my Pearl Jam.

LO2L is the album that took me from a casual fan to a die hard fan. It will always be the definitive live Pearl Jam album to me. For some reason, Go always seemed out of place though.

God damnit. I wish I would've never know about this CD. I want it so bad now. Fuck.
The album’s full track-listing is: “Release,” “Brain of J.,” “Animal,” “Faithfull,” “In My Tree,” “I Got ID,” “Corduroy,” “Even Flow,” “Spin The Black Circle,” “Given To Fly,” “Hail, Hail,” “MFC,” “State Of Love And Trust,” “Do The Evolution,” “Alive,” “Black” and “Immortality.”
Lisa Markowitz, Pearl Jam’s spokeswoman at Epic, referred calls concerning the CD to band publicist Annie Ohayon, who could not answer several faxed questions by press time.

Love this album, still spin it regular like. This was the album that really got me into PJ, back in about 2003 or something.
I remember saying to the wife that it was a desert island top 5 album and she was really surprised because she had yet to witness (but shortly would) my intense burst of PJ fandom that started from here.

I played this today for the first time in a long while, and I'm glad that it is indeed as good as I remembered. What a gem. The tracklisting is damn near perfect, awesome flow to it. The performances are all top notch, and great instrument and vocal tones throughout. I think these versions of Red Mosquito, Even Flow, Do the Evolution and Fuckin' Up are my favorites. The packaging is also stellar with the photography and poster collages. I think this is the best sounding live recording of the band as well. 9/10
Nothing but glowing praise. What is missing that would push this to a 10?
I dunno, I have a hard time giving anything full marks... but fuck it, 10/10 it is
