These two aren't growing on me like Lightning Bolt, where I slowly start to think they're alright because I begin to accept the shitty things about them. They are growing on me more with every listen because I notice more and more beautiful things about each. :heartbeat:

This honestly takes me back to a time where PJ released stuff like this all the time and I could just take for granted that the next PJ record was gonna be great no matter what.

I think when people talk about "dark" Pj songs.. Let It Ride is what they're probably talking about, at least thats the case for me.

Let it ride is perfect. Ed sounds pretty good, but it seems very recent.

I dont know why but i have the feeling these might be more recent than 2005.

So, whatever band dynamics go into picking songs for the albums needs to be blown the fuck up.

Where did these even come from? So random.

Cold Confession is interesting. I'm enjoying it, I think more than Let It Ride.

I think people should seriously start holding signs for these two so the band know THIS IS WHAT WE WANNA FUCKIN' HEAR YOU CUNTS.

"PLAY LET IT RIDE INSTEAD OF FIXER".

Cold Confession (session?) definitely sounds more like Recent Ed. I hear Riot Act Ed on LIR though. His Scratchy tone and range just reminds of that time. But hell, if ed can sound like that on LB, I'm down.

CC is definitely my favourite after a few listens, but I love them both.

Yeah, they're 2005.

It's not just Eddie that sounds 2005, Matt and Mike both don't play this well anymore.

Who gives a shit when!

Its funny...

The people that want proof Pearl Jam and Ed still have it think they are recent recordings
The people that want proof that pearl jam an vedder sucks now and everyone else is a midnless sheep, are positive these are older recordings.

Shut up and love it, cause these are great :finger: :nice:

Or you know, we've all listened to enough Pearl Jam over the years to pinpoint idiosyncrasies that come from certain time periods.

I wonder why they are marked "track 03" and "track 06"? Maybe they actually are thinking of a new Lost Dogs, that's their track numbers on it and that's why these have leaked?

this is the pearl jam i used to adore

Seriously, what happened?

It's as though they accidentally broke Pearl Jam part-way through the recording sessions of the S/T album and they're even now still trying to figure out how to put it back together again.

What a strange and frustrating band.

Two new amazing Pearl Jam songs that hours ago I didn't know existed. Makes me so angry!
