Eddie is a huge fan of that album. He mentioned it a lot in those years so probably yes.

FWIW - This album always was underrated to me.
To the larger world, No Code is an underrated album. To the fan base, Binaural is an underrated album. To the RM community, S/T is a severely underrated album.
Could have been better than Gigaton/Riot Act, but something is a little off, from the production, to the sequencing, the lesser songs included, the artwork, the name of the album. Just not quite there. Still better than the next two albums.

wow, I think this album is way better than Gigaton. But then Riot Act is so much stronger than both of them that it's like an entirely different conversation

My PRAMG rankings go as follows:
Gigaton S/T Backspacer Lightning Bolt
At least proper studio albums. Not sure if we count Lost Dogs or PJ20 or Live on Ten Legs with those. Gigaton and s/T are relatively close but both way ahead of Backspacer and Lightning Bolt.

I'm near here too, but I don't think the drop-off from Riot Act to S/T is that large.
Each has some great high points (Riot Act arguably having more) and some misfires.
In any event, they're both miles ahead of subsequent efforts.
