how hard is this to find? i thought the ten club kept vinyl studio albums in stock. unfortunately i was wrong. i saw it on amazon for over $100. anywhere i can find it for less? i'm trying to get this for my bro b/c his daughter turned 18 and they got her a turntable for her bday. he already got her 10, but we share the same favorite pearl jam album in no code, so this is kinda important. side note: i got her ok computer on vinyl and a live dmb cd i couldnt find on vinyl.
I actually pondered warehouse's problem, and I've got nothing.
I guess you could give them the Off He Goes and Who You Are 7"s.
thank you sir for the suggestion. i emailed the ten club, im sure that will get nowhere. i can hope they do something for the 25th anniversary. i will probably end up just biting the bullet and dropping a lot of $ for it.

I'd seen No Code all over the place last year. It was readily available on Amazon for a normal, fluctuating price until the end of 2019, and it's been out of stock ever since. Once something goes out of stock on Amazon, it seems to have price-escalation ramifications across 3rd party sellers. I don't ever recall this being considered or marketed as a limited release. But I have noticed over the past 6 months, that a lot of older records being repressed in general are 1) becoming harder to find, and 2) escalating in price. I have to believe that a lot of this is due to both COVID manufacturing delays, and also that vinyl lacquer plant burning down at the beginning of 2020 (it was one of only 2 in the world). They were predicting a shortage of records when it happened, and that seems to be coming true.
While it's true that we are still seeing new reissues and repressing of albums like Ten constantly popping up, I assume that it jumps to the front of the line bc of demand and popularity. As much as we like it, No Code running low on copies isn't going to muster up the type of demand that record labels find high enough to do more represses right now. I'm sure more will come, it's just a matter of time.
I completely forgot about that fire. thinking about it, i remember reading it was going to cause a shortage of vinyl. if demand will get it pressed more, can everyone here do me a favor and shoot the ten club an email about this? LOL thanks in advance!
It may be at my record store. I can take a look for you next time i go there. Though, we had a falling out so not sure when that will be!
A falling out with the record store or with warehouse? C'mon, details are needed. Enquiring minds wants to know.
Alright.
Record store.
The guy is an identical real life clone of Comic Book Guy in the simpsons - Vest, superman belt buckle, acne, ratty hair and all.
Great guy though and would always take care of me. I considered us friends! Would always stay and chat with him and his mom.
Election Day this year I posted a "funny" or "Adorable" little cartoon celebrating Trump losing. I got a message from him going off on me about how he hates facbeook and he tolerates 0 politics on facebook and if anyone does they get blocked and removed from his list.
He finished off with insinuating i was no longer welcome but if i still needed to come in i could call him instead.
It was super weird and a late night message. I asked if i offended him and he said yes and that was it.
We were friends on facebook for 8 years. I never post overtly political stuff but maybe crack a joke here or there. ITs been the same since we've been facebook friends so something clearly set him off that day.
