The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Here is a long shot, back during the Vitalogy and No Code tours, before there were online forums, we had this email list/usenet called Release. We were a tight small online community, we even made T-shirts and met at concerts. Would love to hook up with some of those people, but moreover, if those conversations were archived somewhere that would be incredible to re-read. Thanks!

Sorry, Lukin, we have a strict policy about deleting old posts. As a matter of fact, the current board archive (2004-2012) is due to be deleted in just 177 short days

So is this to mean that the old Release usenet became this forum eventually? OK so here is another question - where can I find reviews of those old shows?

There is a sub-forum here called "Release"

I was on the Garden of Stone email list and on alt.music.pearl-jam. I thought Release was the fanzine that someone published, but maybe there was something else as well.

Thanks for this. The alt.pj group believe it or not is still alive and kicking and featuring crazy threads from 1995! I even found some really embarrassing posts I made back then. I remember GOS, I think at some point Release migrated to GOS, there was something between the two of them. Release was also a fanzine...
LOL now to go to a show you have to show you've been vaccinated?!

What does this mean? This forum is full of all kinda jokes and puns I don't get. And why have I been banned from the pit? I was the pit master or mistress actually.
