They really missed their chance at a "Temple of the Dog collar" pun.
Maybe Chris Cornell has more integrity than Pearl Jam at this point.
He made a bad album, big deal. Get over it.. He took a huge risk and it didn't pay off. We don't shit all over an actor's integrity for making a bad movie and can't see why we do with bands.
Exactly, we're talking about integrity here. Cornell should have tried that with a better producer than Timbaland and it could have been really interesting. I remember around that time he cancelled a real show for a Walmart gig and everyone lost their shit. Pretty sure Pearl Jam have done worse and more things than that since then. I'd say Cornell wins the integrity award without a doubt. Really great that he didn't keep going down that path like Pearl Jam has.

Eddie and Beth kinda look like brother and sister. I feel much more comfortable he's banging that model now.

jill & yoko are (at the least) muses that lead good artists in unfamiliar, but necessary, directions.
I'm sorry, but to suggest that Jill's artistic impression upon Ed is in any way comparable to Yoko Ono's on John is just insane. Yoko was a significant conceptual artist who introduced a once in a generation talent into her world and helped redefine him as an artist and who he viewed as a creative partner and equal for the last twelve-thirteen years of his life.
Jill...was a model who ended up with Ed.
If you can prove me wrong I'll change gladly my tune, but I see no evidence that Jill led Ed in a direction that was either necessary or unfamiliar.
