The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
One listen, not on headphones. Fine enough B-side quality song at first blush. Too true that fades too soon. Power of suggestion, maybe, but I think I could feel the Let It Ride vibe there as it briefly breaks out before it ends.
Lots of cool artist too in the album. Ill check them out later...This Jeff song is super weird too...loving it. I already saw the video premiered on Ohana so its not a novelty, but a cool song.

Feels more of a lost Binaural or avocado track for me
I was feeling the Avocado aspect for sure- those twinkly guitars recall Army Reserve, and the Let It Ride comparisons hit for me. Curious where this would land 1-5 if we had a poll. At least a 4 for me.

Poll is up. It's a 2 for me, again with the caveat that this is clearly not in my wheelhouse.
Thank you. Gave it a 5, but reserve the right to change as I listen more. Have listened maybe 5 times now and it's essentially a 4.5 and I'm rounding up.

It's probably a solid 3 at first listen. The final minute is some top notch stuff. I like the vocals in the verses more than Retrograde. Similar styles.

Would y'all agree that this is again in the category of "different and better" than the style of music they were producing on BS and LB? I know stip compared to Amongst The Waves, but I'm not seeing that, aside from it being a midtempo type builder.

This is better than Amongst the Waves. Seems more genuine/authentic.

My attempt at most of the lyrics:
On the side of the road Lost and alone To get it back
Much farther to go So far from home To get it back
Frozen in time Turn on a dime To get it back
Try to reach you before winter comes Always a place for you in my (heart/arms?) You’re not alone
(garbled stuff I can't make out) …to talk to you (garbled stuff) Only one Is to give it back
A mother and child Lost for a while They want you back
Stare at the sun Don’t hurt anyone To get it back
Trying to reach you before winter comes Always a place for you in my heart
(garbledygook)
Since you went away Hard to find my place Since you went away Hard to find my place Since you went away Since you went away Since you went away Since you went away
