PJ Stray Cats (new 2CD version)

By popular demand, I present to you a 2CD version of 'Stray Cats' - a proposed sequel to ‘Lost Dogs’ that collects together what I consider to be the best and most important non-album tracks currently available to the PJ community.

For a compilation that shouldn't be taken too seriously (hence the artwork ), I have spent a stupid amount of time on this, on and off over the past few years. Given the different eras and vocal styles across these tracks, it has been challenge to get it to flow well and sound somewhat cohesive. I've agonised over the sequencing, and WCT has done a brilliant job with the mastering (as usual), so I hope you find it an enjoyable listen.

All tracks except for 'Chinese' come from high quality (though sometimes lossy) digital or vinyl rip sources (detailed source info below).

It should be noted that 'Falling Down', 'Angel', 'Santa Cruz' and 'Someday At Christmas' are sourced from the digital FLAC singles recently made available.

I'll be updating the Complete Holiday Singles set with these and other new digital FLAC sources very soon so be sure to re-download that set too.

Thank you Ridley, once again top notch work and both discs flow really well. Hate to be a pain in the arse but can I make a quick request regarding the artwork? Would it be possible for you to knock up a version of boht discs with the album title, disc numbers and you logos an usually stuff please and a back inlay cover attached to the front cover so us old schoolers can make our own physical copies please. Man this looks absolutely amazing. I spotted an error however. You have “Of the Earth” with a date of 2001. That should be 2010 I believe.
