the yellow moon transition feels a little off. FoN is a scrappy imprecise song and Yellow Moon is very intentional. Rats into Elderly has a similar issue but Rats fades out, which helps.
Go is a great way to start an album. Hail, Hail is an even better song. But I agree that the transition could be better. The songs sort of don't lead into each other. DOTC from Hail, Hail worked just fine. Good song, not sure it can quite live up to the two songs before it though. Tremor Christ. Happy to hear this song. Excellent start to the album. Marker In The Sand. That was a jarring transition. Probably the weakest song yet, and I like it quite a lot. I Am Mine. Listen to that recording. So lush. Crazy with some posters not liking this song. Do The Evolution. It's evolution baby. Five star song. The transition into DTE might have been the best on the album yet. Porch. Two classics, but this should not be straight after DTE. Disagree with Stip here. Grievance could follow up any song. It's got that special vibe. Works excellent after Porch. Force Of Nature. One of my favorites from the last three-four albums. Think it works well after Grievance. Yellow Moon. Weird transition. I like the song, but it feels a bit boring in this collection. Parting Ways fits a lot better after Yellow Moon than Immortality. Just tried twice with each song.
Good collection of songs. Could use some tweaking.
