I think both the composition and the mix are top-tier PJ.

real talk: I'd vote for Light Years over Why Go, though

i'd have to think on that, might be a coin flip.

Light Years has to be the most overrated song in the catalogue though.

Is it really that overrated? I feel like most people I ever see talking about the song are saying how bad it is.

I like the song a lot

I wasn't a big fan of it for a long time. I've really come around on it. Great song that I think is actually underrated. Still probably rate at least 4 songs on Binaural higher.

Lesser song by leaps and bounds. Better than Thumbing My Way, tho.

Go, Hail Hail, and Tremor Christ creates one hell of an opening though.

Go, Hail Hail, and Tremor Christ are all arguably the best songs on their respective albums and I think contribute well to the definition of "Ultimate Pearl Jam." Those three songs would probably be on any PJ mix I made for myself or for any uninitiated listener. But will it be enough to outweigh the truly unfortunate inclusion of Force of Nature?????

We'll have to see what happens in spots 3, 7, and 12.

I personally think Tremor Christ is an awful, adolescent, grating song that I would be perfectly happy to never hear again. Go and Hail Hail is a surprisingly great start, but looking at what it's taken off the board, this is going to be a real turd.

This seems like the kind of thing the Unpopular Opinions thread was designed for. This may actually be that threads Queen.

What I'm struck by is the fact that there are more than 31 posters on this board.
