when did they cover 'hunted down'? i thought 'missing' was the only cc/soundgarden song they did, beside eddie covering 'seasons' which no one has a recording of.
Hunted down is studio recording. Done by stone.
have they covered soundgarden before? i'm kinda surprised they didnt cover 'outshined'. i'd be pumped if they ever gave us that 'seasons' performance.
They did some Outshined tags way way back
yeah, there was the 98 tour and they did it at the Pittsburgh show I was at. blew my mind since Matt joining the band was still so fresh in memory.

all live songs?
Wildflowers and Hunted Down are studioversions. Missing is recorded live but had some work on it (some vocalproductions probably done by Josh ). 'keep me in your Heart' is that Letterman tribute version

Thanks for the heads up... why on earth were they sitting on these for two years????
Great interviews. Read the 2017 one. Will read the 2018 tomorrow. looks good. Really good interviews with new insights. Heavy on the nostalgia. Still really hard to read any thing from CC.
What was the selection process like once the band said yes to the idea of a live album? I got home and sat down with the show DATs. We hadn’t lost much in terms of music. As long as the tapes could make it into the encore, I could switch them and not drop songs. I don’t remember having to deal with much of that. I put a big binder together, show by show. Being their live engineer, I had a pretty good memory of what shows were great and which ones were maybe not quite as solid. I could get a minute into the song and know if it was or wasn’t going to be the one. I also had to take notes about Ed’s banter and what might be interesting to be included or not. Stone was in the studio with me every day — he ran point on that. He drove the bus.
God dammit - great interview with Crowe and Pellington on SVT and it was originally a much longer "warts-and-all" behind the scenes look at the band process. They took out much of the warts at the last minute.

Sooo worth the wait...
I’m fairly confident this version of Missing is not from Seattle night 2 (unless they’ve tinkered w/it). I was at that show and I listen to that boot on regular basis.
