Wow.

Edit: Bill Simmons has a podcast for those that don’t know him. Pretty popular. Interviews can be pretty long at times. He’s a huge fan, obviously.

I would really like to hear them talk at length about any struggles and the "musical redemption" this album represents

Very much looking to hear them talk about the long gestation period and creative process for this one

Love Simmons. Agree w most of what he says. Sure, he’s a Boston homer, but I’m pretty much in agreement w most of his takes on pop culture and the like. Big fan.

It would be awful bc Maron would have no frame of reference and would bring nothing interesting to the conversation. He's usually great, but every once in a while he gets a top-shelf guest and completely blows it.

The Neil Young interview was horrible.

The Paul Thomas Anderson movie wasn't too bad, but Maron was like "I haven't finished watching The Phantom Thread yet so I can't really ask you about that."

And how do you have Rick Baker on and not bring up American Werewolf In London?

I'm not a huge podcast listener, but Ed or any of the guys chatting with Maron would be fantastic.

Maron would focus too much on Ed's childhood.
