Love Simmons. Agree w most of what he says. Sure, he’s a Boston homer, but I’m pretty much in agreement w most of his takes on pop culture and the like. Big fan.

It would be awful bc Maron would have no frame of reference and would bring nothing interesting to the conversation. He's usually great, but every once in a while he gets a top-shelf guest and completely blows it.
The Neil Young interview was horrible.
The Paul Thomas Anderson movie wasn't too bad, but Maron was like "I haven't finished watching The Phantom Thread yet so I can't really ask you about that."
